Abstract:
This paper was presented as an invited talk at the First
Symposium on Knowledge Creation Support Sytems held at JAIST near Kanazawa in
February 2004. This paper is an intorduction of TRIZ to novices. It reflects my
recent understanding of TRIZ, evolving little by little as I learned Darrell
Mann's textbook, a number of case studies presented at conferences and Web
sites, and practices of applying TRIZ/USIT by myself, etc. Writing a new
introductory article is always a good thing not only for readers but for the
author himself. ...
